CORK
Cork is a natural material that is obtained from the bark of the Cork Oak, a tree that only grows in certain regions, such as Sardinia and Portugal, which feature the typical Mediterranean climate. The tree is not cut down. Instead, the bark is slit to only penetrate into the surface layers that grow back again completely every 8-10 years. The cork chosen by us is cut and transformed into thin sheets that are glued onto a textile base with water-base glue to enhance the material’s resistance and facilitate processing.
FAUX LEATHER
Product details are finished with faux leather from Trentino Alto Adige, produced using 50% of discards from the industrial processing of apples.
