150 Italians : famous Italians from the last 150 years. In only a few weeks the list has reached 225 names and is growing daily.
It's going to be difficult to choose between the inventors of every day universal objects like the Brugola extended Allen key (Egidio Brugola, 1901-1958) or the Biro (Marcel Bich 1914-1994) and Nobel prize winners for chemistry or literature, Oscar winners and the leaders of publishing, mathematics, industry and journalism or the fathers of the Constitution and Europe; our country has produced so many people of whom we can be proud.
On the website www.150italiani.it you can nominate the famous Italian man or woman whom we should be thankful for and who is not already on the list, as long as they are not still alive or too political. You can also vote for anyone you like who is already on the list. In the autumn, the people winning the most votes will be celebrated in a notebook designed around them.
