From 14 November 2008 to 30 March 2009, Fabriano Boutique will be at the Brussels exhibition “That’s Opera”, showing a new collection dedicated to the world of opera. The new line of products uses images from costumes designed by Umberto Brunelleschi for the staging of Turandot at the Costanzi Theatre in Rome in 1926.
It is an important international exhibition, projected and promoted by Ricordi & C., publishers of great operatic works by composers such as Puccini and Verdi, in collaboration with the Milan City Council and the Ministry of Culture, and gives an account of the various phases in the production of an opera: from the writing of the libretto, to the drawing up of the scores, from costume and set design to the final performance.
